Traditional Service “Full Service Funeral”

This type of funeral usually includes a viewing or visitation and formal funeral service. The service may be held at a church or at the funeral home chapel with burial and graveside services to follow. It includes full services of our professional staff, coordinating with churches or other organizations, assistance in preparation of necessary paperwork, and use of funeral home automobiles.

Traditional Service with Cremation

This type of service includes everything in a traditional service, but following the visitation and funeral service, the body is cremated. Then the cremains may be buried, kept in the home, or placed in a crypt or niche at a cemetery.

Direct Cremation

The body is cremated shortly after death, without embalming. The cremated remains are placed in an urn or other container. No viewing or visitation is involved, although a memorial service may be held, with or without the cremated remains present. The cremains may be buried, kept in the home, or placed in a crypt or niche in a cemetery.

Direct Burial

The body is buried shortly after death. The body is placed in a casket and no viewing or visitation takes place.  Embalming is not necessary if burial takes place within 48 hours of death. A memorial service may be held at the church, funeral home, or graveside at the convenience of the family.
