Vivian M. “Mare” (Philemon) Trudeau, 55, Wilson, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
She was born on September 23, 1960 in Escanaba, daughter to Henry and Lena (Meshigaud) Philemon Sr. Vivian attended School in Bark River and continued her education at Northern Michigan University.
On November 7, 1989, Vivian married Julian Trudeau. He preceded her in death.
Vivian was employed with social services and also was a receptionist for the Island Resort and Casino.
She enjoyed sewing, reading, swimming, dancing, walking and attending concerts.
Among survivors include her children, Parker (Brittany) Trudeau of Hannahville and Betsy (Kino) of Zoar, WI; step daughters, Marilyn, Brenda, Angela and Molly Trudeau; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Parker, Landen, Violet and Vera; siblings, Henry Jr., Alan, Leon Philemon and Sharon Philemon, and Gerald Engraham all of Hannahville.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by infant sons, Trevor and Travis; brothers, Clay Leveau, William and Loren Philemon; sisters, Lynn “Lolly” Philemon and Pauline Louis.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 19th beginning at 4 p.m. at the Hannahville Community Center. The funeral service will follow on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the community center.
Burial will take place in the Hannahville Cemetery.
The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Trudeau family.
