Tyrone Lee Sagataw, 40, formerly of Wilson, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his home in Escanaba.
He was born on May 13, 1976 in Oshkosh, WI, son of Daniel G. Sagataw and Charla Powell. Tyrone moved to Wilson at the age of three and was raised by his loving paternal grandparents, Omar and Genevieve (Keshick) Sagataw. They preceded him in death.
Tyrone graduated from Bark River-Harris High School, class of 1994.
He was employed as a slot attendant at the Island Resort and Casino.
He enjoyed playing computer games and being with his friends.
Among survivors include his father, Daniel Sagataw of Wilson; sister, Amy Sagataw of Royal Oak, MI; aunts and uncles, Maxine (Dennis) Engel of Daggett, Gregory “Buck” Sagataw of Hannahville, Patrick (Robin) Sagataw of Lansing, Terrance (Ramona) Sagataw of Chebense, IL, Dale “Joe” (Jackie) Sagataw of Hannahville, Connee Sagataw of Hannahville and Robert (Patty) Sagataw of Escanaba; and many cousins.
Tyrone was preceded in death by his mother, paternal grandparents and aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 2nd from 4 p.m. until the time of fellowship and a meal on Friday, June 3rd at 11 a.m. at the Hannahville Community Center.
The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Sagataw family.
