Todd C. “Tinker” Fournier, Bark River, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 13, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.
He was born on January 29, 1963 in Escanaba, son of the late Arthur Fournier and Beverly Fournier. Todd graduated from Bark River-Harris in 1981.
Todd married his high school sweetheart, Catherine A. Olson on June 13, 1985 at First United Methodist Church in Escanaba. She preceded him in death on November 9, 2006.
Todd was employed at St. John’s Forest Products since 1989.
Todd enjoyed hunting, fishing, grilling, cooking, baking, and spending time with family at camp. He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. Todd received the nickname “Tinker” because he liked to tinker around with cars and anything he could work on. He was an avid Lion’s fan.
He was a member of the Bark River United Methodist Church and the National Rifle Association.
Among survivors include his children, Steven (Samantha Swenor) of Escanaba, Travis (Jessica Bal) of Bark River and Christina of Marquette; mother, Beverly Fournier of Bark River; brothers, Tom (Darcy), Tim (Patty) and Tracy (Jody) all of Bark River; significant other, Rainey Feliciano and her children, Christopher and Amanda Feliciano and Danny and Michelle Santanello. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews along with his best four-legged friend, Tank.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 17th from 3 – 6 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Chapel in Bark River. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Christine Bergquist officiating. A meal will follow at 7 p.m. at the Bark River Senior Center.
Burial will be in Bark River Cemetery.
