Ruth Ann Rodgers

Ruth Ann Rodgers, 61, of Escanaba, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at Christian Park Health Care Center following a brief illness with her loving family surrounding her.

Ruth Ann was born on April 26, 1954, daughter of William and Evelyn (Kitchin) Rodgers. She was raised and resided in Escanaba. She graduated from Escanaba High School.

She bartended and worked for 4-Paws Grooming.

Ruth Ann enjoyed crafts, hunting, oil painting, fishing, watching cooking shows, and she loved riding her moped.

Survivors include her sons, Christopher and Jason Jones of Wisconsin; three sisters, Sharon (Pat) Frazer, Marilyn (James) Kern, and Sandra (Leo) Couillard of Manitowoc, WI; brother, Duane Lindstrom of Manitowoc, WI; special aunt, Betty Rodgers of Escanaba; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruth Marie Jones; and brother, Richard Rodgers.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 7th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Emmett Norden officiating.

The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Rodgers family.
