Russell R. “Tutto” “Smote” Wandahsega, 55, N15185 Ridge Road, Wilson, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital.
He was born on May 27, 1958 in Escanaba, son of Thomas and Alice (McCullough) Wandahsega. He attended Bark River Harris Schools.
Russell had previously worked security for the Chip-In Casino, Menominee County Road Commission, Hannahville Housing, and was a self employed woods worker for years.
He enjoyed gambling, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
Among survivors include his lifelong love and sweetheart, Sharon Williams; sons, Ralph, Jeremiah, and Randy (Angelique); daughter, Kelli Jackson; grandchildren, Kaide, Kisha, Angelina, Tony, Lena, Jacb, Nicholas, Jazlyn, Liliann, and special grandson, Logan Jackson “Shmoges”; brothers, Warren (Vicki), Darrell (Geneva), Ted and Tim all of Hannahville; sisters, Elaine Meshigaud, Alma Wanda, Patsy Wanda, Donna Boda, Verna Krysheski and Rosie all of Hannahville; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Rev. Jim Williams of Mackinac Island, MI.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Jenny and Christina; brothers, Leroy, Thomas Jr., William, and Joseph; and sisters, Celia Wandahsega and Sally Eichhorn.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 26th beginning at 4 p.m. at the Hannahville Community Center. The funeral service will follow on Friday at 10 a.m.
