Rosemary Corrigan 77, was received into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 7, 2015 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s.

Rosemary was born June 11, 1937 in Iron Mountain, MI to parents Arthur & Loretta Flaminio. On February 7, 1959 she married her high school sweetheart Clayton Corrigan, her best friend and devoted caregiver.
Rosemary was a homemaker raising their family in Kingsford before moving to Bark River. She was a wonderful wife and mother, loving grandmother and faithful friend to many. She enjoyed many years golfing, bowling and motorcycle trips. She loved to serve the church, spend time with her many friends lunching, etc. Her great joy was cooking and baking for her family and friends. She made a “killer spaghetti sauce”. Her humor and kindness will be missed by all who knew her.

Rosemary is survived by her husband Clay, sons Mark (Jean) Corrigan, David (Sherry) Corrigan, Gary (Traci) Corrigan and daughter Colleen (Bill) Jensen. Grandchildren Dayna (John) Ruggles, Adam (Nikky) Corrigan, Whitney (Dustin) Corrigan, Andy and Matt Jensen, Avry, Elliot, Grady and Kye Corrigan and several great grandchildren. Brothers Jim (Barb) Flaminio, Jerry (Mary) Flaminio, sister, Lois Berg. Sister-in-law Kathleen Corrigan, Brother-in-law Bruce (Jenna) White. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christion burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 11:00am CST at St Mary Queen of Peace, Catholic Church in Kingsford, MI. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Bishop Noa Home Memory Care Center.

The Corrigan Family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Bishop Noa Home for their wonderful care during Rosemary’s illness.

The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the family.
