Ralph V. Cook, 70, Gladstone, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at UP Health System in Marquette.
He was born on October 5, 1944 in Escanaba, son of Ralph and Betty (Guindon) Cook.
Ralph served in the Army during the Korean War.
Ralph married Bernice Goodnough on November 26, 1966 at St. Anthony’s Church.
He worked as a general contractor until his retirement in 2005.
Ralph enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being with his family. He was an avid Packer fan.
He was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church.
Among survivors include his wife, Bernice of Gladstone; daughter, Christine Flowers of Marathon, WI; son, Ralph (Angie) A. Cook of Escanaba; sisters, Mary Wilbur of Escanaba, Vivian (Gerald) Ketchem of Gladstone, Donna “Ron” Fallio of DePere, WI; brothers, James C. (Liz) Cook of Escanaba and Russell (Kathy) Sturdevent of Green Bay; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert; and sister, Tammy.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 7th from 1 to 3 p.m. at Blessed Hope Baptist Church, 2530 14th Ave S., Escanaba. The Delta County Veterans Council will have military rites at 2 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Louis Hague officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church hall.
Burial will be in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
