Paul C. Kleiman

Paul C. Kleiman, 77, of Powers, passed away on Monday morning, July 15, 2019 at his home with his wife, Edith by his side.

He was born on May 6, 1942 in Wilson, MI, son of Paul P. and Rose M. (Frisque) Kleiman.

On February 12, 1972, Paul married Edith Cecilia Veldman at St. Anthony’s Church in Wells.

Paul graduated from Bark River Harris High school, class of 1960.

He was a farmer for 30 years and was a lumber grader at Robinson Furniture Factory for 15 years.

Paul was a member of St. John Neumann Church and was a Powers Lion’s Club member since 1993.

Among survivors include his wife, Edith of Powers; daughter, Heidi Kleiman of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Peter (Diane) Kleiman of Wilson, Henry (Shirley) Kleiman of Bark River, Edward (Mary) Kleiman of Wilson, Tony (Debbie) Kleiman of Wilson, Gerald (Dawn) Kleiman of Powers, Louis Kleiman of Wilson, Tim Kleiman of Ohio; sisters, Rose (Donald) Webber of Bark River, Marie Hanson of Stephenson and Julia (Randy) Beauchamp of Wilson; and four grandchildren, Maleah, Chauntel, Amaru and Michelle; and great grandson, Domonique.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Scott Kleiman in 2011 and sister, Lorraine Birnbach.

The visitation will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. (CST) at St. John Neumann Church in Spalding, MI. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jacek Wtyklo officiating.

Burial will take place in Spalding Twp. Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kleiman family.
