Myrtle (Launderville) Boggs, of Escanaba, passed away on December 15, 2015 at the age of 85 after a long battle with cancer.
She was born on October 26, 1930 to Clifford and Myrtle (Moggo) Launderville.
Myrtle will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a devoted companion, wife, mother, grandmother, and loyal to all her friends. She loved to dance, crotchet, go to bingo, and the casino.
Myrtle is survived by her loving partner, Fred Brousseau, who she loved dearly; three daughters, Jeanne (Tom) Murray of Hardwood, Carolyn (Mike) Glamann of Waupon, WI, and Nancy Gucky of Escanaba; one son, Tom (Sue) Valiquette of Milwaukee, WI; one brother, Jack (Lonnie) Launderville of Wisconsin; three of Fred’s children, Scott Brousseau, Celine Nicol and Nadine Metelko; and 55 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lyle Boggs; two daughters, Cindi Brown and Pattie Gagnon; five brothers, Harold Dickerson, Clifford, Bob, Bill, and Clarence Launderville; two sisters, Lillian Boos and Jerry Gartner; several nieces and nephews; two grandsons, Joey and Danny Webber; and her special granddaughter, Sheri Lynn Quick.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. with Deacon Mike LaBeau officiating.
Burial will follow in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Boggs family.
