Lorraine Marie Routheaux

Lorraine Marie Routheaux, 85, of Menominee, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Bay Area Medical in Marinette.

She was born in Brampton Twp. on July 26, 1934, daughter of Margaret (Webber) and William Couillard. She was raised in Brampton and attended school there.

On February 9, 1959, Lorraine married Leonard Charles Routheaux in Menominee, MI. He preceded her in death January of 1995.

Lorraine worked for Robinson Furniture. She was also a senior companion for several years, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

She enjoyed fishing, boating, kayaking, going on picnics, and spending time camping with her family. She loved to socialize with her daughter and friends at the bowling alley and enjoyed traveling and meeting new people.

Lorraine was a member of the Salvation Army in Escanaba.

She is survived by her children, Margaret (Rick) Smith and their daughter, Christine Judd; Cynthia Montgomery; Carla (Stanley) Porath, and their children Tabatha Rudebeck and Andrew Porath; Ella (Roy) Forray and their children Justin Forray and Nichole Hallfrisch; Pattie (Daniel) Heckel and their children Nickolas and Priscilla Heckel; and Trish Routheaux (fiancé  Dave Foreman) and Trish’s children Valerie Nygaard, Justine and Natalie Gagnon and Dave’s children Jazmin, Liam and Kalei Foreman; several great grandchildren and  four great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Leonard and her parents she was preceded in death by her sons, Carl and Alfred Nyberg; daughter, Christine Routheaux; brothers, Donny and Howard Couillard; and great great grandchildren, Ben, Aaron and Brianna Rudebeck.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  A celebration of Lorraine’s life for friends and family will take place once restrictions are lifted and will be announced at a later date.

Burial will take place in Wilson 7th Day Adventist Cemetery.
