Kristie Lee Yagodzinski, 39, of Spalding, passed away on Saturday morning, April 18, 2020 following a brief illness at U.P. Health System – Marquette.

She was born on November 4, 1980 in Escanaba, daughter of Charles John and Carol Lee (Martin) Yagodzinski.  Kristie graduated from North Central Area Schools.

She was a certified nursing assistant at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility.

Her greatest joy was her son, Benjamin.

She also enjoyed baking, musicals, singing karaoke, and playing board games.

In addition to her son, Benjamin Charles Dabbs, II; Kristie is survived by her brother, Kevin Paul (Mary) Yagodzinski of Spalding; nieces and nephew, Megan (Peter) Kleikamp, Jacob St. Juliane (Taylor Gehrcke), Amanda (D.J.) Reaser; and great niece and nephew, Lily and Evan Kleikamp.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Carol.

  1. Words can’t express my thoughts right now. You are on my mind constantly. You have gone through so much, but always was smiling. I know you are with your mom and we will all make sure that Ben is loved and grows up knowing you and how much you love him.

  2. So sorry for your loss. I remember hiring Kristie at Pinecrest MCF and she was so energetic, dedicated to helping others and had an open heart. She was wonderful to everyone and she really cared. So proud to have known her for that short time before I retired. Prayers for all of you.

  4. So sorry Kevin and Mary you’re sister was a great person and she was very good at her job taking care of my mom and everyone else. If you do have anything for her later I would like to know so I can good to it.

  5. Sorry to hear about Kristie. I worked midnights with her in the bakery at Econo. We were always so happy when she’d bring in something she baked for us. Especially her homemade scalloped potatoes and ham! Had many good times with her!!
