Katrina “Trina” Leanne-Dale Gereau

Died August 4th, 2018

Katrina “Trina” Gereau, 29, of Escanaba, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Saturday, August 4, 2018.

She was born on September 16, 1988 in Louisville, KY, daughter of Bonnie (Grenier) and James Gereau and Cavin and Crissy Farris.  Trina was raised and went to school in Escanaba.

She enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her daughter, Kelsey making jewelry and coloring.

Trina had a very big heart which she wore on her sleeve. Those that love her find comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.

In addition to her parents and her daughter, Kelsey Marie Beauvais; she was survived by half-brother, Brannon Farris of Leitchfield, KY; close cousins, Jeff (Carly) Vertz, Brittany and Alex Vertz, and Joshua Grenier; aunts and uncles, Jeff and Aimee Vertz, Francis Grenier and Katherine Hardt, and Sherry Grenier; and many great aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by grandmother, Shirley Grenier; ma-maw, Carolyn Sanderfur; and pa-paw, Dub Sanderfur.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 9th from 3 – 6 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba.  The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Paul Culbertson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bonnie Gereau.  A college fund will be established for Trina’s daughter, Kelsey.

  4. We were heart broken to hear her passing. Knowing mainly her daughter Kelsey and her parents thru Kelsey’s attending our school. Know that you, Kelsey, your mom and your grandparents are in our prayers. From your second family at the dojo.
