We usually visited with them whenever we saw them out for dinner at the Ford River Pub.

I have lost my vision so I know the struggles Alex has had to overcome and probably will have in the future. I hope he will be okay.

  6. Sending you all my sincerest sympathy…
I’ve always enjoyed Katherine, seeing her through the years at Wickerts. My dear mother, Marvel, was a steady customer & Katherine created many beautiful arrangements for her. I would see her & her husband at the Adoration Chapel, as I was leaving, always sharing some kind words. My latest memory of her was at the Homecoming football game several weeks ago…I was sitting in my lawn chair by the fence and her car was parked not far from me. She saw me, came over and we visited for some time, enjoying each others company and the Eskymos!
To her delight, her granddaughter was crowned queen at half time!! She was so happy & proud!! I was so glad for her! Not long after, she said it was time to go home w/Alex. My last words to her were God Bless You ! & she returned those words back to me…
What a special, compassionate, loving lady…You will be missed by many. God rest your soul in Heavenly peace…

  7. Very sorry to see about your family’s loss. Prayers for you and your family. Many fond memories from early childhood and visiting Katherine at Wickert’s from time to time.
