June T. Constantineau, 86, passed away early Monday morning, June 12, 2017 at Bishop Noa Home where she has resided since 2010.

June was born on June 13, 1930 in Perronville, daughter to Henry and Leomie (Guindon) Constantineau. She was raised in Perronville and graduated from Bark River Harris High School in 1948.

In the 1970’s June moved to Bark River and worked at the Bark River State Bank for over 50 years as a teller.

She was a member of St. Michael’s Church for many years and currently was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Bark River. June was very active in church and Cursillo. Her religion was very important to her.

June enjoyed crocheting, knitting, keeping her yard neat, making bread and was an animal lover, especially cats.

Among survivors include her sister, best friend, and roommate at Bishop Noa, Marie Johnson; and three nieces, Jill (Ward) Zeno, Marijeanne (Bob) Swift and Sally Johnson and their families who were all very important to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, William and Lawrence Constantineau; brother in law, Ben Johnson; and three sisters in law, Marie “Minnie”, Adele and Hilda Constantineau.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 15th from 3 – 5 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Bark River. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 5 p.m. with Rev. Darryl Pepin and Rev. Emmett Norden concelebrating. A meal will follow in the church hall.

Burial will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Schaffer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church or the Delta Animal Shelter. Envelopes will be available at the church.

The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the family.

  1. Iam so sorry to hear of Junes passing.. She will be missed by me as well as my children, June was a very good friend and i tried to see her and Marie every time i was home. June will be in my prayers as well as her family. God bless you all

  2. I am so sorry for your loss! I can just imagine how she must be talking up a storm now with family & friends. She do readily shared her smile and laugh! Please give Marie a hug for me. I hold you all in prayer!

  3. My condolences to Marie, Sally, Marijeanne and their families. I was sorry to hear of June’s passing. I will always remember her for her smile, laughter, readiness to help anyone and her kindness. She was a great person and will be missed.
