Jason W. Hilberg, 37, of Escanaba, passed away early Wednesday morning at his home of natural causes.

Jason was born on March 23, 1980, son of William “Bill” and Rose Anne (Stalker) Hilberg. He was a lifelong resident of Escanaba and graduated from Escanaba High School in 1999.

He worked as a machinist at Precision Plus.

Jason enjoyed golfing and watching wrestling. He coached for the YMCA youth flag football and basketball programs.

Jason is survived by his parents, Bill and Rose of Escanaba; fiancée, Crystal London of Escanaba; children, Anna, Jack, Owen and Zeah Hilberg; stepson, Cole Willett; siblings, Eric (Alicia) Hilberg of Orlando Fl and Scott (fiancée Tot Lu) of Bejing, China; niece, Paige Hilberg and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitation will be held this Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 1-3 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his fiancée, Crystal London to assist with the care and upbringing of their children in c/o Bill and Rose Hilberg, 527 S. 15th St., Escanaba, MI 49829.

The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Hilberg family.

  10. I will always remember Jason getting all the neighborhood kids together to play games outside. Ball games in the street, tag on the whole block, we were never bored because Jason always thought of something fun to do.
