Henry J. LaFave, 85, Escanaba, passed away at his home on March 28, 2015.
He was born in Escanaba on February 25, 1930, the son of Victor and Fedelia (Langtagne) LaFave.
Hank attended New Hall School.
He married Helen M. DuBord on June 24, 1950, at Holy Family Church in Flat Rock.
Hank enjoyed camping, hunting and going on casino trips.
He was employed by Chicago Northwestern Railroad from 1951 until his retirement in 1992.He was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church of Bark River.
Hank is survived by three daughters, Bonnie (Keith) Grabowski, Mary “Maggie” Irving, Cindy (Keith) Kamin, all of Escanaba; sons, Henry (Karen) LaFave Jr., Robert “Rabbit” (Roberta) LaFave, Willard (Susan) LaFave all of Escanaba, Roger LaFave of Marinette, Jim (Susan) LaFave of Ponca City, OK; sister, Joyce (Willard) Mattson of Escanaba, brothers, Art (Carol) LaFave and Gerald (Diana) LaFave, both of Escanaba; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, on June 20, 2014, his parents Victor and Fedelia LaFave; two brothers, Richard LaFave and Clayton LaFave; son in law, Randy Irving.

Burial will be in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
