Harold “Harry” A. Anderson, 64, Escanaba, passed away Saturday evening, March 19, 2016 at Christian Park Healthcare Center.
He was born on August 3, 1951 in Escanaba, son of Harold and Margaret (Stodola) Anderson.
Harry graduated from Holy Name High School in 1970 and was a lifelong resident of Escanaba.
He was previously employed with Auger Wholesale.
Harry enjoyed fishing, turkey and deer hunting. He did woodworking a brief time after getting MS while he was still able.
Among survivors include three sons, Andrew (Amy) Anderson of Chattanooga, TN, Scott (Kim) Anderson of Abrams, WI, and Adam (Sabrina Melcher) Anderson of DePere, WI; three grandchildren, Kyle,
Brett and Miranda Anderson; five sisters, Andrea J. (Dan) Sabor of Green Bay, Jane Anderson of Escanaba, Pauline (Dan) Sarasin of Escanaba, Grace (Steve) Williams of Kalamazoo, MI and Elise (Elvis) Hood of Escanaba; two brothers, Marshal (Diana) Anderson of Monroe, MI and Loren (Linda) Anderson of Escanaba; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother in law, William Anderson.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 23rd from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Deacon Mike LeBeau officiating. A meal will follow the service in the dining area.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his family to assist with funeral expenses.
