Geneva Mae Kroehler, 86, of Gourley Twp., passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Hospital.
She was born on November 9, 1930 in Boyceville, WI, daughter of Ignes and Gladys (Ranney) DePas.
On July 10, 1949, Geneva married Duwain Kroehler at the Carney Free Church.
Geneva enjoyed gardening, farming, doing puzzles, crocheting and attending church. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Wilson.
Among survivors include her children, Jerry (Gail) Kroehler of Appleton, Judy Kroehler, Leesa Kroehler and Tammie (David Thoune) Kroehler all of Wilson; grandchildren, Jeff (Yvonne) Kroehler, Nicholas (Kim) Kroehler and Jay (Maura) Kroehler; six great grandchildren, brother, Cecil (Elsa) DePas of Escanaba; five nieces and nephews; and extended family, Kevin (Deborah) Boerschinger and sons.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Duwain, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest DePas; and sister in law, Barb DePas.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the Wilson Seventh Day Adventist Academy from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Eastern Time). The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. A meal will be served at the academy following the burial.
Burial will be in the Wilson Seventh Day Adventist Church Cemetery.
