Resided in Bark River, Michigan
Died September 10th, 2018

Gary J. Pach, 62, of Bark River, passed away late Monday evening, September 10, 2018 at his home following a lengthy illness.

Gary was born in Escanaba on December 21, 1955, son of Thomas and Lorraine (Beauchamp) Pach. He was a life-long resident of Bark River and graduated from Bark River-Harris High School.

He began his working career at Harnischfeger, worked at Payne & Dolan, was a truck driver for St. John’s Forest Products, and then was an auto body technician at Lantagne’s Auto Body.

Gary coached baseball for Schaffer Little League for many years, was involved with 4-H shooting sports, and volunteered as a referee for Gus Macker Basketball tournaments.  He had been a member of the Delta County Jaycees, touched the lives of children as a “BIG” through mentoring for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and was a member of the Bark River Lions Club where he really enjoyed helping with the Off Road Races.  Gary also loved being at his hunting camp that he built, spending time with his grandkids, and playing cards with his poker buddies.

Among survivors are his daughters, Terri Pach (fiancé Lance Burdick) of Menasha, WI.,  and Cathy (Jason) Thibeault of Escanaba; grandchildren, Carissa and Curtis Kuchenberg, Owen and Emma Burdick-Pach; siblings, Marlene Pach (Sally Baker) and Laura Pach, all of Perronville; and many other special family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward Pach; and a nephew.

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 16th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Chapel in Bark River.  The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m.  with Pastor Christine Bergquist officiating.

Burial will take place in Bark River Cemetery.
