Floyd C. “Do Do” “Junior” Rhode, Jr., 53, of Spalding, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at his home of natural causes.
He was born on August 5, 1962 in Menominee, MI, son of Floyd C. and Joyce Y. (McCullough) Rhode, Sr. Floyd was raised in Powers and graduated from North Central High School in 1981. He received an associate degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and then attended Western Michigan University.
Floyd had been employed for the Island Resort and Casino for 22 years and currently was the transportation coordinator.
He enjoyed visiting his friends and family, especially his niece.
Among survivors include his mother, Joyce Rhode of Wilson; two sisters, Melody Hammond and Beverly Rhode of Escanaba; and a niece, Marissa Hammond of Las Vegas, NV.
He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd C. Rhode, Sr.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 17th beginning at 4 p.m. at the Hannahville Community Center until the time of services on Saturday at 10 a.m.
The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the family.
