Donna M. Boda, 56, Wilson, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Tendercare Health Center in Munising.
She was born on April 14, 1960 in Escanaba, daughter of Thomas W. and Alice M. (McCullough) Wandahsega Sr. Donna was raised in Hannahville and attended Bark River –Harris High School.
Donna was currently employed with the Island Resort and Casino Oasis. From 2001 to 2004, Donna was the tribal executive secretary and helped with a number of other committees for the Hannahville Community. She organized the first P.T.O. for the tribe.
She enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, traveling and spending quality time with her grandchildren.
Among survivors include her children, two daughters, Melissa Metzger and Amanda Metzger and three sons, Phillip Wandahsega, Kyle Boda and Trevor Wandahsega all of Hannahville; 25 grandchildren and one great grandson; and siblings, Warren (Vicki) Wandahsega, Theodore Wandahsega, Darrel (Geneva) Wandahsega, Elaine Meshigaud, Timothy Wandahsega, Alma Wandahsega, Verna Klisheski and Rosalind Wandahsega all of Hannahville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Bret Boda and Kenneth Wandahsega; and siblings, William McCullough, Thomas Wilfred Jr., Sally Eichhorn, LeRoy Wandahsega, Celia Wandahsega, Joseph Wandahhsega and Russell Wandahsega.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 6th after 4 p.m. at the Hannahville Community Center. The funeral service will be on Sunday, August 7th at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in the Hannahville Cemetery.
