Dolores M. “Dee” Millette, 84, of Escanaba, passed away Thursday evening October 26, 2017 at Christian Park Village in Escanaba.
Dolores was born in Kingsford, MI, on May 2, 1933. She was raised in Kingsford and graduated from Kingsford High School.
On October 29, 1955 Dolores married Edward “Barney” Millette at American Martyrs Church in Kingsford. He preceded her in death on January 20, 2014.
She worked for Harnischfeger for 33 years then went to work for State Employee Credit Union until her retirement in 2014.
She was a member of Blue Army, St. Thomas the Apostle Church and Eagles Auxiliary.
Dolores is survived by her son, Raymond (Angie) Millette of Escanaba; grandchildren, Ashley (Ryan) Prudhomme, Dustin and Connor Millette; great grandchildren, Ryder, Matthew and Evelyn.
In addition to her husband, Edward “Barney”, she was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
The Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church with Rev. Rick Courier officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church hall. Visitation will follow on Thursday, November 2nd from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba.
Entombment will be on Friday, November 3rd at Gardens of Rest Mausoleum in Wells.
