Bryan Paul Trombley

Bryan Paul Trombley, 44, 1817 Ludington St., Escanaba, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 2, 2014.

He was born on May 12, 1970 in Escanaba, son of Robert S. Trombley and Diane L. Mattson. Bryan attended Escanaba High School.

On June 17, 1995, Bryan married Merri Beth LeClaire at the Fumee Falls in Quinnesec.

He was employed as a carpenter and mechanic.

Bryan loved hunting, fishing, going to camp, spending time with his family, camping, working on race cars and watching the Detroit Redwings and Detroit Lions.

He volunteered for the UPIR and was involved with dart ball.

Among survivors include his wife, Merri Trombley of Escanaba; mother, Diane Mattson of Manitowoc, WI; children, Ryan, Brandon and Britany Trombley of Escanaba, Devon Zentrich and his two sons of Wausau, WI, Jennifer (Bryon Stemick) LeClaire and Daniel LeClaire of Escanaba, Melissia Avery of Gwinn, and T.J. Swisher of Houghton; siblings, Daniel (Danielle) Trombley of Iron Mountain, Brenda L. Trombley and Tim Trombley of Escanaba. He was the loving “papa” to seven grandchildren, Aliyah, Kelsee, D.J., Amiyah, Brooklyn, Laura and Mariyah. He was also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his father, Robert and grandparents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, William LeClaire and Sodie Seymour.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 10th from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba. The funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. with Pastor Brian Swillum. A meal will follow the service at Calvary Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family of Bryan P. Trombley.

The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Trombley family.
