Audrey J. DuBord, 76, 423 S. 14th Street, Escanaba, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 4, 2014

She was born in Escanaba on August 5, 1938, the daughter of Albert and Phyllis (Dagenais) Balthazore.

On August 10, 1957, Audrey married Gerald DuBord at St. Thomas Church.

She attended Escanaba High School.

Audrey worked at many restaurants in the area including; Ranch House, Michigan, Terrace, House of Ludington, and Ramada.

She enjoyed clothes shopping, gardening, swimming and camping. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Audrey was a member of St. Joseph and St. Patrick Church and AMVETS.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gerald of Escanaba; sons, Michael DuBord and Mark DuBord of Green Bay, Patrick DuBord of Denver, CO, Dale DuBord of Escanaba; sisters, Sharon (Ken) LaVigne of Gladstone, Patricia Ketchum and Sandy (Harold) Jacques of Escanaba; brothers, Mike Duncan of Escanaba, Patrick (Rose) Kohler of Gladstone; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gerald, Jr.; sisters, Phyllis, Carol Jean, Shirley, Vernetta; and brothers, Jack, Ted, Bob, Don, and Dewey, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon at St. Joseph and St. Patrick Church with Rev. Rick Courier officiating. A luncheon will be held in the church hall following mass.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

  1. my deepest sympathies to your family. I worked with Audrey at the Ramada. She was a great waitress and such a hard worker. Audrey and Mary Hubert worked together and were great friends. Now they will be together in Heaven, where I’m sure they will gave a good time. May God give Audrey a beautiful home in his kingdom. Fly with the butterflies Aud and u and Mary enjoy ur eternal life

    We are sorry for the loss of Audrey. She was a special lady and a kind neighbor to our family. Our kids will miss visiting with her on her patio. May she be at rest and peace in heaven.
