Anthony “Guy” W. McCullough

Anthony W. “Guy” McCullough Sr. 56, of Hannahville, passed away Thursday November 21, 2019 due to an accidental drowning.

He was born in Chicago, Il, on November 2, 1963, son of Jerome W. and Gloria (Meshigaud) McCullough. He was raised in Hannahville and attended Hannahville Indian School and also attended school in Flandreau, South Dakota in 1979-1980.

Guy was a very generous and happy soul. He loved his happy spirits too much but was a comical person. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He would always give something if he had it and if someone needed it.

He loved watching baseball and loved his family but most of all, he cherished his boys and his grandchildren very much.

He worked at Island Resort and Casino as a security officer and bar staff.

Guy is survived by his five sons and two stepchildren, Rufus James and Anthony Jr. of Kasibonika, Ontario Canada, Anthony Ray of Escanaba, Zachary Wayne of Bark River, Myron Joseph of Escanaba, David King of Gladstone and Valerie of Escanaba; grandchildren, Evan, Claira and Ovayia; sisters, Victoria Dowd of Hannahville, Jessica McCullough (Seth) of Hannahville, Phoebe (Ray) O’Brien of Hannahville and Judy (Howard) Webkamigad of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, David (Renata) McCullough of Wyoming, MI, Mitchell McCullough of Hannahville, Jody (Vanessa) McCullough of Hannahville and P. Dallas McCullough of Hannahville; greatly loved by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerome McCullough Jr.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Hannahville Community Center and will continue until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. Monday, November 25th. Burial will take place in Hannahville Cemetery.
