Ann Myrvall, 93, Powers, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility.
She was born in Calumet on August 6, 1921, the daughter of the late Thomas and Jean (Weir) Chynoweth.
Ann graduated from Calumet High School.
After high school, she moved to Detroit for a brief time before moving to Bark River for the past 70 years.
Ann married Earland Myrvall on October 6, 1943.
She was an operator for Michigan Bell Telephone and spent 24 years as a bank teller at First National Bank.
Following retirement, Ann and Earland wintered in Homosassa Springs, FL for 13 years.
Ann loved to sew clothing, garden, plant flowers, go to camp, bake, downhill ski, and ice skate.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Bark River.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Jeanne (Richard Hasse) Millard of Gladstone; son, Robert “Bob” (Yvonne) Myrvall of Bark River; grandson, Bradley (Penny) Millard of Escanaba; brother, Thomas (Gloria) Chynoweth of Columbia, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lois; and husband, Earland.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Chapel in Bark River. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church officiated by Rev. Paul Strom. A luncheon will follow in the church hall.
Burial will take place on Monday at Bark River Cemetery.
