John J. Bloniarz died peacefully on Saturday July 29th at his home and on the Farm in Perronville, Michigan with his wife by his side.

He was born July 16th 1929 in Perronville, Michigan and graduated from Harris High School in 1947.

He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War . He married
his wife and partner in life Eleanore Charboneau on June 1st 1957 .

John was a lifeline long Dairy Farmer in Perronville working until the age of 80.
John was known and respected for his helping of everyone in the surrounding
Perronville area ranging from delivering calves, thawing pipes, plowing snow,
welding, cutting hay, cutting trees or counseling them on life. John and
Eleanore had an open door policy at the Farm where all were invited to visit,
stay, work and enjoy a home cooked meal by Eleanore.

He served in the Army from January 1953 until his honorable discharge in December 1954.
He received a National Defense Service Medal.

John was a member of the Bark River-Harris School Board serving as President
for a number of years. He was a member and on the board of Michigan Milk
Producers Association and a longtime member of the Harris Township Fire
Department.

John is survived by his wife of 60 years Eleanore. They have five children:
Sharon (Alan) Johnson of Fairbanks Alaska, Connie Bloniarz of Okemos Michigan,
Allan (Sandy) Bloniarz Iron Mountain, Mary Dunham East Lansing and Dean
(Cindy) Bloniarz of Perronville. He was preceded in death by sisters: Helen
Krachinski, Joanne Kolodziej, Stella Smaron and brothers: Edward, Fred and Henry.
John had 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. John loved
Perronville and had many great friends and neighbors with a very special friend and
neighbor, Hank Polishak.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. EST Thursday August 3rd at the Crawford Funeral
Chapel in Bark River. The Bark River Legion will have military rites at 4:30 at the
funeral chapel. Funeral Services will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. EST at St.
Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Bark River with mass being offered by
Rev. Darryl J. Pepin. Interment will be at St. Michael Cemetery in Perronville.
Lunch will be provided after Mass in the Parish Hall.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Northwood’s Home Care or Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the Crawford Funeral Chapel.
