He was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed making lawn ornaments, wood working, fishing and camping. Also enjoyed going to the local casinos and his trip to Las Vegas, NV.

Among survivors include his son, Floyd Jr. of Escanaba; two daughters, Bevelry and Melody of Escanaba; his former wife, Joyce Rhode of Spalding; a very special granddaughter, Marissa Rae Hammond of Las Vegas, NV; and siblings, Bernice (John) Simonetti, Gerald Rhode, Allen Rhode, Betty (Darwin) Waldo, Raymond Rhode, Blaine (Gloria) Rhode and numerous nieces and nephews. Also his adorable cat, “Puff, the 2nd”.
