Annamae Revis, 80, 986 21st Road, Bark River (Perronville), passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at her home.

She was born on November 16, 1934 in Chatham, daughter to Edwin S. and Alice L. (Kropp) Peacock. Annamae was raised and attended school in Trenary and graduated from Rapid River High School.

On December 21, 1951, Annamae married James “Jim” Revis in Rapid River.

Annamae was a Avon representative and was a member of the president’s club, worked for P & S Manufacturing in Powers and they owned and operated J & A Plastics.

She enjoyed gardening, canning, hunting, fishing, painting and was a foster grandmother at Bark River Harris Elementary School. Annamae was number 16 in the world for computer poker.

Annamae was past president and service officer for the Cloverland American Legion Post 82 Auxilliary of Escanaba.

Among survivors include her husband, Jim of Bark River; two daughters, Carrie Lynn (Pat) Spriks of Rapid River and Anita Louise Therrian of Auburn Hills, MI; two sons, James “Dave” (Cindy) Revis of Escanaba and Clinton E. (Renate) Revis of Germany; grandson, James E. (Amber) Revis of Bark River; sisters, Diane (Wallace) Godfrey of Gladstone and Ruby (Don) Orr of Glennie, MI; brothers, Edwin Peacock and Victor (Betty) Peacock of Escanaba, Mylo (Tammy) Peacock of Perkins; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins..

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Clayton Eugene; brothers, Jim, Roy, and Charles Peacock; sister, Dorothy Dishno; grandson, Ronnie Ray Therrian; and great granddaughter, Arrika Revis.

The family will greet friends and relatives from noon to 2 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba on Saturday, January 3rd. The Walter W. Cole American Legion Post 301 Auxiliary of Rapid River will have a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. William Rafuse officiating.
